A true budding talent, Christian is as easygoing as he is prolific.
This multitalented, multifaceted young director knows how to take full advantage of his experience as a film and television actor (Radio-Enfer, Le Négociateur), script writer and designer. His drive to push his limits has taken him into theatre territory, where he put on a techno-opera cabaret (A Night at the Red Light Cabaret at the SAT in July 2007) and studies in directing at the prestigious HB Studio in New York. His passion for design and for directing actors gives him a cinematographic approach that highlights content and narrative structure.
He has been recognized for his advertising work, notably for the Diet Pepsi commercial that earned him the bronze medal at the Summit Creative Awards in 2004 and his work with Marketel on the Air Canada Revolution Campaign website also garnered him a Cyber Lions nomination. This year at the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television Gémeaux Awards, he won «Best Direction in a Youth Program : Variety/Comedy» for Les Pieds dans la Marge 3 «L’importance d’innover» (Groupe Pixcom Productions).
Christian Lalumière is now working on different projects for film and television.
