Clarke Gallery was set up by Elly Clarke in her Berlin apartment in 2008 to show the work of Berlin-based and associated artists. After more than ten exhibitions in this space, the gallery became mobile. Over the past 2 years Clarke Gallery exhibitions have travelled to Franklin Furnace (New York), Eastern Edge (St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada), Galerie Suvi Lehtinen (Berlin), TROVE (Birmingham), Meter Room (Coventry), and, currently, until 9th September 2012, is stationed at the midland arts centre (mac) (Birmingham).
