I was on the train from Providence to NYC after visiting Eric. I sat next to a Parson's girl named Carolyn (spelling?). She let me look through her iPod and I tried to persuade her to do lip dubbing with me, but she sternly refused, even when I said "come on, it'll be fun!"

I was pretty obsessed with Crash Test Dummies in high school, so I was overjoyed when I found God Shuffled His Feet on there (she also had A Worm's Life). As a challenge, I didn't review the song; I just hit play and went for it. I think I did pretty well, despite a couple of flubs.

If I was sat on a train and a complete stranger looked through my iPod and tried to persuade me to do some lip dubbing, I think I'd be very alarmed indeed.

Your sense of humor and congeniality are infectious! Though I can't remember the video for this song, I suspect it couldn't have been better than this! Plus (and I DO remember this), you're much easier on the eyes than the Crash Test Dummies guy...

Your teachers weren't joking when they said all that stuff about you just doing what you wanted without caring what other people thought! Inspirational!

Awesome! Evidently, life can be fun if you want it to be... Lemon Jelly once said "it's Christmas every day if you want it to be", would you like to be the poster boy for that campaign?!

    Thanks, Jakob!

Also, I'm now inspired to get that Crash Test Dummies album, it sounds great!

The last time I heard this song I was too young to realize he name checks Sartre.

It's really a test of someone's boringness when they can sit by a dude like you and choose to continue with their cliche cell phone convo insted of joining in on the fun.

Hahaha, this is your best lip dubbing by far. So funny. It's a shame how some people don't just let go and join in. It's funny how they can actually look more out of place by not being silly and awkwardly hiding away compared with if they just go for it like you did there.

the lipsyncing is great, but what makes the clip better than the rest i think is the setup, before and after the actual lipsyncing is done. with the real audio and the iPod, is so well done.

So I can never remember the important keywords to find this video - this makes the fourth time I've scrounged around in my history to find it. I finally decided to just go ahead and make an account so I could actually tell you that I took the effort to find this video because I adored it so much. :)
