Coach House Sounds is an internet-based project documenting the diverse Chicago music scene by inviting local (and some visiting) musicians to be recorded while performing in an intimate setting. By using a tape-based workflow, live production, and single takes, we create an atmosphere where the creative process can thrive, whether it's coming from a setlist, trying out a new song, or pure improvisation.
