I love to compose and choose good subject matter. Editing is always fun :)
Tell me a little about (Shutter Speed - Digital cameras dont use angles but no worries, haha! ) What is the Gladiator effect?
I think the Panavision lenses showed with the Lens flares and quite a bit with the Color. I realized after going to Prores for Vimeo that it desaturated and decontrasted a bit.... Hmmm any tips? just color in advance for that?? This was my raw footage and first cut, I will try to get a graded one up....
I used Panavision lenses because I work for them and have good access to their resources, so thats a huge blessing. They also just have a huge variety of focal lengths and speeds, so it was nice to have the flexibility. I especially enjoyed the wide angle lenses, which are harder to come by for Canon.
I will shoot some more stuff with some of the Super Speed Zeiss' and see what I can pull together..
Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it.
Keep it coming, especially the criticism, I can always learn. -

I think handheld is some of my run/gun personal style.
People get kicked out for having tripods man, it just makes you look like youre more serious and then they ask for permits and stuff. Easy to shoot handheld and look SEMI like a tourist hahaha (big lenses, no..)
Ill shoot some more tripod stuff next time
Keep checkin back for more, and thanks for being str8 up! -

thanks for enjoying it, its not my work though man, its the people that make it so interesting, I just try to capture it from different perspectives!

Keep your aperture wide open or close to it (1.2-1.8, 2.0 - 2.8 and you should get some depth...)
Thanks luigi! -

I am a filmmaker.
I love Jesus and want to glorify Him through my work.
I am interning at Panavision this semester, and its probably been one of the best experiences so far learning everything from loading mags to learning the Panavision Genesis. Legit.
I was stoked to go to this year's Cannes Film Festival in France. I screened a lot of the festival in-competition and out of competition features, along with some director's fortnight pieces and some others scattered throughout the international and indie scene.
I've worked on short films, indie-features, highlight videos, wedding videos, commercials, and I do any kind of project that interests me and incorporates my passion for film-making.
I am a junior in college, studying film production out of Los Angeles, CA, at the Los Angeles Film Studies Center.
I love cinematography, editing, and directing.
