Colum LaVelle
I started taking photos in July 1980 when I went to see Bob Marley and the Wailers play live in Dublin. I used a Kodak Instamatic 126mm camera for the event and havent stopped since. I was given a loan of a Pentax SLR in 1981 by a friends father and bought my 1st SLR in spring of 1982, The Pentax K1000 which I still use. In 1988 I upgraded to a Canon T-70 which I still use, I've also got the EOS 5
I started using DSLR's in 2005 when I bought the Canon EOS 300D later upgrading to the EOS 30D .......... I've used the EOS 5D, EOS 5DMK II, EOS 7D, EOS 1DMK II
I have no particular brand loyalty , though there are clearly some better than others, I like to try out different cameras be they FILM or Digital as it keeps me interested and creative. I also get to Tutor people quite often so it's good to have a broad working knowledge and experience of equipment, techniques and approach's
if you like like or dislike my work please leave positive critical feedback. I respond to most personal correspondence
