contraire was founded in 2007 in Linz (AT) with the focus on the creation of motion graphics for multiple purposes. The broadband is ranging from video and visual FX to the design and development of realtime visualisations and interactive media environments. Specialised in the field between timebased and interactive media design, the approach of contraire`s projects differs between pragmatic and experimental. The spectrum ranges from the creation of non-traditional interfaces to the development of multimedial infrastructures within the scope of exhibitions, live performances and events in public space.
