Owned and operated by Oakland filmmaker Carl D. Brown, we specialize in providing corporate video, news broadcast and documentary film production services to media outlets, corporations, start-ups, educational groups, and non-profits.
Corduroy Media produces, directs, shoots, and edits specifically to the needs of each unique project. Whether that is a feature length documentary film, a web-broadcast series, or a promotional video for a non-profit or corporate start-up.
As a new media video production company we rely on a team of freelance producers, camera operators, editors and musicians to expand and contract to meet the demands of any project no matter how big or small.
Over the past year, Carl D. Brown has won best documentary at film festivals in San Francisco and London. Producing over 35 news segments for MTV's emmy award winning Choose or Lose Campaign, his social and political stories have been broadcast on-line and on-air on a host of Viacom and Associated Press properties.
