Cornwall Council Plus
Cornwall Council started work on 1 April 2009, bringing together the six former District Councils and the County Council into a new unitary Council.
Our ambition is to improve services to the public, deliver better value for money and create a significant positive shift in the Council’s impact on the County of Cornwall – its environment, its economy and its people. The elections of 4 June 2009 returned 123 Members; no single party has an overall controlling majority.
