"Cotton AV" is an audio-visual performance group. It concentrates on the spectacle of live cinema with poetic and rythmic uses of video loops. The video loops consist of different visual material coming into form to create a non-linear improvised way of narrating stories. Some loops contain diverse material such as close ups of men/women/children/streets/highways to representations and formations of found-footage, home video and video art.

The group consists of video artists Ozan Akıncı and Kaya Hacaloğlu along with musicians Şevket Akıncı and Volkan Ergen.

“Cotton AV” görsel ve işitsel malzemenin “gerçek zamanlı” sunumunu, lineer olmayan anlatım biçimlerine özgürlük tanıyan, görüntülerin ve seslerin sunucuların tasviri ve insayatifiyle eşleştirildiği, videoya yeniden üretim imkanları tanıyan, fotojenik ajanların ürettiği neşe/hüzün/korku kaynakları içerisinde gezinen politik, şiirsel ve DEVİNİMSEL bir video ve ses kollektifidir.

Ses ve müzik tasarımında Volkan Ergen ve Şevket Akıncı, görsel anlatımda ise Kaya Hacaloğlu ve Ozan Akıncı'dan oluşmaktadır.
