I've intrigued by news since I got a toy printing press as a six year old and switched to the visual side at age 12 with my first still camera. After 28 years in broadcast news and another 8 teaching broadcasting, I still can't live without a camera in hand and editing computer nearby.

    1. did you shoot the game or just the live shot? how much of the b-roll behind the talent did you actually shoot...if none or little, cut it out. the inference is you shot it all. talent was overlit/should be dimmer to balance out and see background better
    2. nice shots on second story...keeping up with the pace and showing variety of shots/although a bit too much movement...folks like to see faces
    3. ok...don't be afraid to get in close...CLOSE. on talent. a bit overexposed.
SUMMARY: overall, well - ok. nothing catches my eye or tells me you can do more than hold the camera and see a shot. This would be much more effective if you cut it down to a minute or two and gave me the highlights.

Shot at the Chula Vista Marina...experimenting with settings on my Panasonic AG-HMC150 and then the first project edited on my Dell using brand new version of Adobe Premiere (CS5.5).

Every year folks in the San Joaquin Delta meet the New Year by water skiing in the chilly waters. From young teens to senior citizens, from costumed to (dare we say) unclothed. This short clip is a tease for a story posted on youtube (klncreations).
