Damien began his creative career as a photographer, shooting for magazines as diverse as Time, Cosmopolitan, Elle and The Face. He then attended the University of Southern California studying film, while he continued to work in Los Angeles as a photographer. Immediately upon leaving film school Damien was signed to shoot TVC's. His first ad, a charity spot supporting Voluntary Euthanasia, had him personally denounced by Pope John Paul II as an 'abomination to the human race'. His clients in the last 10 years have included an array of brands, including Coca Cola, Chevrolet, Renault, Pepsi, Nescafe and many many others. He has shot in, and for, countries including the USA, Britain, China, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, Argentina, Columbia and others. His work as a director has appeared on SHOTS and Best Ads on TV many times, and he has been awarded at the Cannes, New York and London advertising festivals.
