Cyrille de Vignemont aka Danakil, Director/Photographer.

Since 2005, Cyrille de Vignemont formerly known under the directing name Danakil, photographs and video-installations have been shown at the French Art Is Not Dead exhibitions in Europe ; at the Lyon Biennale ; at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Shanghai ; at Agnes B., Hong-Kong ; at the Teen/Spirit show in Melbourne ; in Paris at Galerie 208 and at the Palais de Tokyo.

Since 2009, he has directed music-videos for Poni Hoax, The Micronauts, The Penelopes, Y.A.S/Mirwais, Mohini Geisweiller...

His video for Poni Hoax’s Antibodies was ranked first at the 19th Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors’ Showcase during Cannes Lions 2009.

He also won the Best New Director Award at the Antville 2009 Music Video Awards, and The Best Narrative Video Award in 2010 for Milk Teeth by Mohini Geisweiller.
