Dance Film Project

Dance Film Project

Joined / Minneapolis, MN

DANCE FILM PROJECT is an annual event initiated in 2008 by Cinema Revolution Society executive director and independent filmmaker, John Koch. The nonprofit festival values creativity, experimentation and cross-discipline dialogue among artists and aims to explore choreography through a cinematic language. The festival’s intent is to be an outlet for dancemakers and filmmakers to collaborate and create original short works for the camera with a guaranteed presentation.

Dance Film Project features new work by a variety of emerging and established Minnesota-based artists. Twenty-five distinct collaborations and solo directed projects have formed and will present their work for the 2010 festival.

This year's presentation is December 17th and 18th 2010, as part of the new formed Minnesota Dance Film Festival, presented by Cinema Revolution Society.
