Originally set up by DJ Mr. A in 2005, Danceteria witnessed the beginning of something completely new in the Helsinki´s house music scene. Built around the monthly club night and accompanying bi-weekly radio show, Danceteria has evolved into one of the most forward thinking and visually ambitious club brands around, a club night that can compete with any of its international peers. Now set up in Scandinavia's biggest gay venue DTM the club shows the friends of cutting-edge dance music why people say the gay clubs simply have the best parties. At Danceteria the style-aware dancers meet the DJ's they deserve, and 7 years from the beginning the last dance of Danceteria is not even close to being danced. In addition to the club night and the radio show Danceteria is known for their annual, always instantly sold-out LoveBoat Cruise and the export of their club brand into Estonia and Sweden.
