Writer, Director, and Actor, Daniel Bean has directed the documentary films Salt to Saint, American Hero, the Legacy Documentary, and the upcoming Chariot Men. His fictional films include the animated short film, Death Pad, and the live action short film, The Eternal Question. He has been featured on the television talk show Bibo Nunes Show in Brazil, and on the popular tech site Gizmodo, and has received honors on YouTube.
Daniel has also produced commercials for Brazilian footwear company Havaianas, as well as various corporate projects for high profile clients from around the world. He obtained his degree in Film from the University of Utah, where he participated in the graduate documentary film production program.
Daniel routinely indulges in idol worship of John Woo, Akira Kurosawa, Darren Aronofsky, Errol Morris, the French New Wave directors, martial arts flicks, Gundam, Evangelion, Death Note, and anything with Chow-Yun Fat wearing sunglasses and a trench coat.
