Daniel Benning is a second year student at the University of Derby, studying media production. He works in both the medium of still and moving image, currently independently in a “run & gun” style.

Over the past year he has defined his style of shooting, capturing bold colours at the heart of his pictures to create interesting and unique pieces.

He began using photography as a tool to discover new things around him, and see the world in a different light. Through this has learnt to find interesting angles of even the blandest of subjects, and through the university he is able to access and practice his passion on a daily basis.

He is currently is looking for opportunities to further himself.
