Born in Quebec, Canada, Daniel has lived in Buneos Aires, New York, Los Angeles, Portland Oregon, Barcelona, Montreal, London and Cannes. Explorer, photographer and documentary maker, Daniel Fox follows in the footsteps of his childhood heros, David Attenborough, Jim Fowler & Jacques Cousteau, traveling Earth’s remote places. His lifelong passion for adventure and nature, and his commitment to inspire change and improving lives have led him to create The Wild Image Project, with for mission to motivate others and alter their perspective on global issues by aesthetically presenting information and ideas that stimulate engagement, involvement and transformation.

For their Bicentennial anniversary, the Government of Argentina invited Daniel to return to their country and capture on film its wildlife. The results were presented in a major exhibition at the Consulate General in New York city in October 2010.

In 2010, as a result of his contribution to the world of exploration and promotion of the outdoors, Daniel was made member of the legendary Explorers Club and the Royal Geographical Society. His photographs were auctioned in March 2011 at the prestigious Explorers Club’s Annual Dinner at the Waldorf Astoria.

In 2009, he was named North American Champion by Aquapac. Daniel is also a Planet Explore Visionary (a The North Face initiative that promotes the outdoors), a Kokatat Ambassador and a Wend Magazine Ambassador. His work has been published through Wend Magazine, World Reviewer, Matador Travel and his adventures have been covered by Daily Inspiration, Elephant Journal, Mocoloco, Been Seen, Photography Served, Sutter Sisters, Planet Green, Treehugger, and several other online outdoor outlets.

In 2013, aboard a 35'meter long sailing-kayaking expedition, Daniel and his team will embark on a 6-year around the world journey, called the Extreme Islands Expedition, to photograph and document Earth's most remote and wildest islands.

While is whereabouts are followed through Spot Adventures, his entries on Kontain are read by thousands of people and followed by the hundreds, through Twitter and Facebook.
