A Brazilian filmmaker who has been vigorously studying cinema since graduating high school in 2001.
Picolo started out his career as an editor in 2006 after graduating from FAAP--a film school in Brazil. He studied 3D animation, which gave life to his movie, “Tickets for the Success,” a short that has been showing in many festival worldwide; It played in Anima Mundi film festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Modesto Film Festival in Modesto, CA.
In 2007 Daniel packed his bags, leaving his family in Brazil and moved to Los Angeles to follow his dream of becoming a filmmaker. He furthered his film education by studying cinematography and directing through UCLA Film school extension.
Currently, he’s been working on independent films and still learning and growing as a filmmaker.
