As a filmmaker over the last 14 years Daniel Warren has often collaborated with artists, musicians, choreographers, poets and theatre makers. Daniel regularly uses observational forms to interrogate the physicality of dance, sport, and everyday life. His work has been shown by Channel 4, Frieze Film, British Council, and Scottish Ballet, and at film festivals in Cannes, Naples, Istanbul, Budapest, Zurich and Edinburgh. He is currently working on THE NATION/LIVE, a major outreach project for the National Galleries of Scotland, and artist Hanna Tuulikki’s Air falbh leis na h-eòin | Away with the birds project, which explores the mimesis of birds in Gaelic song, and is being produced by Trigger and Cape Farewell.
