As a child, I always dreamed of being a magician. I spent many early years dedicating my time to mastering slight of hand techniques, the art of storytelling, and how to keep a person’s attention and control it. Through card tricks I would bend the laws of logic and blur the lines of a person’s perception of reality. Years later I still posses a passion for magic, however, now I cast illusions at 24 frames per second. Instead of cards, I have chosen the cinematic frame as my outreach to the world. Now, I explore thoughts and perception through light and shadow, composition, contrast, and juxtaposition of images, all in the pursuit of my overall obsession to control perception and to spark inspiration.
