Darin Cooper is an American actor. He was born on April 15, 1966 in Oakley, Kansas. He attended Fort Hays State University and became an active member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity before transferring as a senior to Kansas State University. Darin graduated from KSU in 1989 with a BFA in Graphic Design with a concentration in Business Marketing before moving to Los Angeles in the summer of 1989. He worked as a freelance production artist for various design firms and advertising agencies for two years. During that time he began taking acting classes and acting in commercials and music videos until breaking away from the office world in 1991. Darin worked as a bouncer come bartender on the Third Street Promenade for seven years while diligently studying with the great acting teacher, Larry Moss. Darin's first professional acting job was as a dayplayer on General Hospital in December 1991.
