Dario Benitez, a multi-talented Colombian & Venezuelan singer/songwriter and performer began writing music with a multi-track program on his computer. His mind and body were filled with lyrics, melodies and rhythms aching to be created. He played all the instrumental tracks himself and overdubbed his vocals to create intricate harmonies. Upon completing a three song demo, Dario took his career to the next level by competing at the USA World Showcase at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. After winning the Most Entertaining Artist Award, it was time to take his music to Los Angeles, California. Dario collaborated on his first Spanish album 1000 Millas with Toby Sandoval, the Latin Grammy Nominated producer who has worked as a pianist and musical director with a diverse group of stars including pop darling, Paulina Rubio and Latin sweetheart, Pee-Wee.
