I am a family doctor in a rural part of Ohio. Although I typically do not take live chickens for payment of services, I have been given eggs, tomatoes, cabbages, green scallions, cakes, fruit, venison, steaks, and even bear meat (as you can tell, my patients like to garden and hunt).
