David Aaron Himes (Director, Producer, Writer, Editor) is the consummate filmmaker. An avid movie enthusiast, Himes was born in 1982, and is an Arizona native. He grew up with the vision of becoming a filmmaker after receiving his first video camera as a Junior High graduation gift. His career spans eight years and has been recognized by the community where he grew up with a Community Excellence Award in 2000 for a documentary on the town’s history. Himes’ achievements include a degree in Motion Picture Production and Television from the Academy Award winning Scottsdale Community College, in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he received certificates in Screenwriting, Production, Acting and Directing. Since the outset of his career, Himes has directed four short films, including his latest film “TELLER” (2008), which his company, AMUZMA ENTERTAINMENT, combined resources with D+NA Films (Dynamic and Never Average) to create this suspense thriller. Recent film projects which Himes has contributed include: "Jack and Diane" (2008), "Crimes Against Man" (2008), "Day of Valentines" (2008), "I Will Kill" (2008), "Starpower" (2008), "Blood Moon Rising" (2008), "Red Corvette" (2008), and "References" (2008).
