Born in Queens, NY in 1988, David Chavez began making films at the age of seven using his father's camera and an assortment of action figures. David graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Film from Full Sail University in Orlando, FL. During his time in school he began to shoot films on 16mm and 35mm. His short film '25' was shown at the Urban Film/Music Festival in Orlando, FL in 2009, and walked out with the “Best Short Film” award. During the 2011 Guerilla Film Competition his film "Recovery" made it into the top 24. He is currently in pre-production on several films in the South Florida area.
