David F. Mewa transplanted onto the Hollywood scene in late 2007 with ambitious creative and a unique brand of filmmaking named SUPREMO LOGIC. After a number of years on the grind, the Canadian has delivered on dozens of inspiring treatments and turned heads of many of the industry’s tastemakers with his distinctive styling. His credits include HGTV lifestyle television, spots for HBO.com and L'Oreal Paris, and captivating music videos for a myriad of recording artists domestic and international. His style is one infused by fantasy and strong conceptual scenarios. In 2009, his direction earned him a coveted MUCH MUSIC VIDEO AWARD (MMVA) nomination for Best Hip-Hop video. Since then he has worked with indie artists like RICH KIDD and CHRIS LABELLE to major acts like the RZA (WU TANG CLAN) and JAMES BLACK (FINGER 11). Mewa’s dedication to detail, meticulous preparation and kick-ass creative has made him a highly sought after film-artist.
