Lombardi is a versatile a TV/radio personality and writer who can deliver big-league quality play-by-play, host compelling talk radio, and excel on camera. He is a Stanford/Pac-12 Insider for FOX Sports Next. He's also On Air at 95.7 The Game (San Francisco). He's covered Pac-12 sports for six years, and has done live TV sideline reporting for Time Warner Cable and Comcast SportsNet. He's also a successful athlete and coach.
Lombardi is a trilingual (English, Czech, Italian) dual citizen of the United States and Czech Republic. He's a Stanford grad, where he majored in International Relations and minored in Modern Languages. He earned his Masters degree in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University. Lombardi is the owner of several swimming records back home in California’s Central Valley, where he also founded the major NextLevel Swim Camp in 2008.
Lombardi has called NCAA Final 4 basketball, BCS football, and postseason baseball action. In 2011, he announced a San Francisco Giants game. His highlights have been featured on ESPN's Sportscenter and FSN's Final Score. He has also hosted a number of sports radio talk shows and has contributed to KNBR and NPR.
Beyond live TV sideline reporting, Lombardi has filled in for the Stanford Cardinal Channel. He's worked the San Francisco Giants and Oakland A's locker rooms to report for the AP and has made TV video packages for KGO ABC-7 (San Francisco) and KSBY (San Luis Obispo). He is a sports documentary filmmaker and video editing expert.
