David Niebla - Director

David Niebla is an award-winning Director, Cinematographer and Photographer from San Diego, California. He specializes in Music Videos and Comercial Production.

He has directed and produced music videos for artist such as, NORTEC COLLECTIVE, EMMA EJWERTZ and CECI BASTIDA.

His work has been featured on some of the most recognizable networks in the industry, such as, MTV, VH1 and Much Music. In addition, his films have been screened and nominated at several INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVALS, such as, THE LONDON INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL (UK), THE PALM SPRINGS INTERNATIONAL SHORTFEST, THE LATIN-AMERICAN CINEMATECA OF LOS ANGELES and THE SAN DIEGO LATINO FILM FESTIVAL. His work has also been featured on some web based channels, like MYSPACE, MTV U and AOL MUSIC.

He has received fabulous praise for his work, including a recent EMMY AWARD from THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF TELEVISION ARTS AND SCIENCE (NATAS).

His list of clients includes: UNIVISION, TELEMUNDO, NACIONAL RECORDS and FOX STUDIOS among many others.

As a child, David Niebla began experimenting with an old VHS video camera and started shooting short films. Years later, after enrolling in a Film course, David began making various low budget music videos, short films, and other experiments, with equipment he would borrow from school. He later began working at small production companies where he got involved in a few television shows and low budget horror flicks. Soon he found himself working on more serious projects and decided his true calling was to direct commercials and music videos.

Currently, he is developing several music videos and a treatment for a short film.
