German born and displaced American, David Scheier is a writer and Illustrator and co-founder of the Buttered Toast Reading Series in El Paso, Texas. He has a silver tongue with a taste for the finer things in life. He currently lives in Chicago, Illinois. His work has appeared in the Rio Grande Review Fall 2009, DUM DUM Zine 2011, Whole Wheat (a chapbook) 2008, Exhibition: “All the best,” Sullivan Galleries, Chicago Illinois 2010-2011, and SAIC's "Text off The Page" publication.
