Founded in 1997, DAY Birger et Mikkelsen has grown to become one of Scandinavia's most successful fashion brands. 

Inspired by Asian tailoring and culture from over a decade spent in Asia, founder Keld Mikkelsen wanted to create a business focused on a design driven product with a craftsmanship revival - manifested in details such as embroidery and beading - and focusing on contemporary everyday glamour. 

During the past few years, the global ethnicity that initially characterized DAY Birger et Mikkelsen has become urbanized to appeal to metropolitan bohemians.
