During the last several years I have been filming wildlife at Crex Meadows Wildlife Area and Burnett Co., Wisconsin. Occasionally wildlife is filmed in Minnesota or western states. My earlier passion was still photography of plants, insects, and the landscape of virgin prairies of Minnesota. I am still doing landscape photography however the vast majority of time is spent searching for, watching, and filming wildlife. A Sony FX1 with a 1.6 teleconverter is used along with a Rode video mike. About a hundred days per year are spent in the field.
