In the autumn of 2007, the Department of Communication became DePaul University's ninth college. In the summer of 2009 the college moved to expanded facilities at the Loop campus in the heart of downtown Chicago. The new space offers state of the art teaching facilities which include new computer labs, "smart" classrooms and a plush eighty-five seat theatre, to name a few. Students can look forward to a broader array of undergraduate and graduate communication programs and enhanced faculty-student contact opportunities.
