If a picture is worth 1,000 words, what about video? From 2006-11 I was a reporter at The Courier-Journal in Louisville, Ky. Starting in 2011 I began covering the University of Kentucky for Rivals.com. I'm a visual storyteller. Or, as photographer Dave LaBelle would say, I'm a story-catcher. I shoot multimedia for the paper’s Web site, courier-journal.com, because I quickly realized once I entered the professional world that I am not satisfied only telling stories with words. ## I’m a 2005 graduate of the University of Kentucky, where I earned a bachelor's degree in print journalism.
