Diana studied Business Finance and Photography at San Jose State University. After graduation she was mentored by SJSU photography staff and alumni including Ben Helprin, Brian Taylor, Reed Estabrook, and Dave Lepori.

After relocating to Los Angeles, she has worked at Getty Images and A&I Photographic and Digital Lab. While at Getty Images she was influenced and inspired by Markus Boesch, Mike Powell, Al Bello, Jed Jacobson, and Vincent LaForet. While at A&I, she met a few photography masters including Herman Leonard, Sally Mann, Melvin Solkolsky, and Michel Karman. She has also met photographers/actors James Marsden, Heath Ledger, and Gary Oldman.
