Raised in the South End area of Seattle Dj Deniro first got interested in djing at the age of 8 when he bought his first records simply out of curiousity Dr. Dre’s Nuthin’ but a G Thang and Notorious B.I.G’s Juicy. An early 90’s introduction to Hip-Hop would determine and influence much of Deniro’s future.
While attending Bellevue College Deniro applied for an Internship at Kube93 September 2002 and started street team promotions that Ocotober. Expressing he was interested in getting to know the dj’s, promotions coordinator Anna Lee did not hesitate to schedule him for all the club gigs. Saving up his talent fee’s he received for working late nights, Deniro soon bought his own equipment from a local dj and got his start in the Seattle club scene in 2004. Opening for Kube93 mixers Dj Supasam, Dj Scene, and Bmello he began to build a reputation around the city. He started headlining his own gigs by 2006 and worked his way into the On-Air staff July of 2008. Being the newest addition to the On-Air KUBE 93 family, you can hear him live friday nights 7:45pm to 9:15pm with Dj Supasam.
Deniro has also been consistent with his club residencies, you can catch him 4 nights a week in the Belltown area of Downtown Seattle.
Much of Deniro’s style involves pleasing the crowds, breaking records, and having fun doing it.
