Seung Chan Lim (Slim)
Seung Chan Lim, better known as Slim, is a Computer Scientist / Entrepreneur by training, and Complex Systems Tamer / Performance Artist by trade. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University where he studied under the late Dr. Randy Pausch, and an MBA from Point Park University where he studied under Dr. Dimtris Kraniou.
For the first 9 years of his career, he lead a double-life as both a Human-Centered Design consultant and a Software Systems Researcher apprenticing under Dr. Peter Lucas.
Products he helped design and produce has won numerous awards including AIGA 365, CES Innovation, EC&M Product of the Year, and Infoworld Top 100 IT Project of the Year.
Currently he is on sabbatical from the real world to gain a whole new perspective on the world by immersing himself in fine arts, design, and performing arts at the Rhode Island School of Design.
In his spare time he directs dance performances, and mixes, remixes, composes, and produces music for dance performances.
