Director Soile Mottisenkangas is a Finnish filmmaker based in North West England. She graduated as Master of Arts from the Screen Academy Scotland, Napier University. Soile is best known in Finland as an artist with wide scale of visual work from theatre to photography. She has held several private and group exhibitions including video art (Looking for Kea, 2011) and few of her short films have been screened at festivals (Queen Tango 1997, Runaway 2009 and Bully Factory 2012).
Soile has been a full time filmmaker since 2010 after working as a web editor, journalist and youth worker for a decade. Soile is a member of Artist Association MUU and the Finnish Documentary Guild.
