You are right, it was quite a huge place. Shot in the night for a start. Had to wait for the stadium in the background to turn their lights off too. They were having a match on that night, I think. I lit the scene with 4 units of 12K-Space-Lights, hung using a big crane over the Skate Park. Even then it was just barely enough light. We were shooting high speed throughout this spot. We had to cut out the existing lights that we couldn't turn off so we can do away with unwanted shadows.
- Stretching Black Cloth was not an option,
1) That was a 10mm lens we had on
2) Wind could be a major set back on such a scale
- Not much post work done on this scene.
- Lower speed film is not an option too as higher frame rate was the call off the day
