Animation, Illustration & Design Studio The Drawing Room

The Drawing Room has a vast experience with different kinds of graphic design, retail design, character design, illustration, animation and everything in between.

Artwork can be found underneath all the names of the artists displayed on drawingroom.nl/home and underneath ‘Agenda’ you can read more about what we have realised. All animators, illustrators and designers are also available on a freelance basis and can be contracted through Jiek Weishut. More styles and examples can be presented if need be.

The Drawing Room takes an active role in the production and the promotion of the work and the collective shown on this website, on national and international level. The Drawing Room pays close attention to what is happening in the creative industry, especially concerning animation. With the newsletter we keep all the artists up to date on new regulations, subsidies and benefits. We are of course always interested in artists who want to collaborate and join this initiative.

Jiek Weishut is also Co-founder of Klik! Amsterdam Animation Festival (KLIK!), Co-founder of the Platform BNO Animation (BNO Animation) and Vice-Chairman of the Dutch Animation Producers Association (VNAP).
