Dr. Bill Bailey

Dr. Bill Bailey has well over thirty years of experience as a computer professional, and works as a System Administrator at the High Point Regional Health System. Dr. Bill is a CIW Certified Master System Administrator. This is a major certication achievement that involves these intermediate certifications: CIW Web Professional Foundations Associate, CIW Server Administration Professional, CIW Security Professional, and the CIW Internetworking Professional certification. He also is a Certified Citrix Administrator, and a VMware Certified Professional as well as an EC-Council Certified Security Analyst and a CIW Certified Security Analyst. He manages both Microsoft Windows and Open Source Linux servers, and has a particular dedication to the Open Source movement. He believes that the best software, as well as the humans that use it, should be free! He is a system and network engineer, and loves "Geek Culture!" His blog, "Dr. Bill: The Computer Curmudgeon" is a platform to express his quest to free the world of monopolistic tyranny, and make the world a safer place for computing.
