I use the FREE service of Vimeo because I do not make a lot of money. Also I can limit myself to 52 HD video uploads a year. i.e. 1 per week. It is annoying that I have to wait a week to upload the last video in the Smugg Knife Productions library. But it is not that big a deal. It has given me time to watch other peoples videos and get some of the other non-HD video up on here.

My preferred media for stop motion animation is LEGO. I have also dabbled in real life stop motion captures. See the Bumbershoot Time Lapse. If I had a better video camera I would probably think about doing more live action videos. But I have a crappy Canon Optura 400. It does widescreen. But that is really its only good point. Otherwise it is SD and has no light attachment area for doing any night time or concert footage.

I use my DSLR to make the stop motion and time lapse videos now. I think I need to learn how to program better so I can make a script that will automate my image captures when I use my DSLR.
