Orlando Gustilo

Since starting a sabbatical from my lifelong work in mental health I have been exploring the "tres virgenes" in my life: digital art, software technology and entrepreneurship. These are huge pots that I could not plumb to their depths: there is not enough time. My goal is to seek what I call duende, those serendipitous moments of stunning creativity that come along independent of the person's efforts. In the past I would have called it grace but personalized grace, more like the divine visits made to mortals by heavenly beings, moments that break up ennui and give life's routines that shot of meaning we crave so much.
