Background
Tony Mottley is an Emmy awarding producer, editor, and photographer. His career in broadcasting started as a talk show producer in radio with WDET, Detroit’s National Public Radio affiliate.

Career Accomplishments
Mottley received an Emmy in 1992 for his PBS City For Youth documentary, “Marvin’s Story” which detailed a teenage gang member’s quest to develop a violence prevention program in the neighborhood where he once sold drugs. He also won an Emmy for the 2006 documentary “Toxic City: Lead and The Fight for Environmental Justice. Mottley has been nominated for twelve Emmy awards.
