Dušan Stakić- Šane lives in Toronto, Canada.
He published his first photographs when he was 20.
He’s had over 20 photo exhibitions , and has won 1st and 2nd prizes in juried shows.
At the age of 23, he started working in the camera department of Belgrade’s Television Broadcast Centre (Televizija Beograd) where he worked on over 200 documentaries.
Later on, he worked as a Second Camera Operator on four movies .
As a still photographer he worked on three movies.
He graduated from the University of Belgrade- Film and ENG Camera
He has done freelance photography for Maclean’s Magazine and the Toronto SUN
His photos have been published in PHOTO (France), Toronto LIFE, L’Actualite and other publications.
In 2006 he started sharing his life and passion with Nika Jakšić also a photographer and together they’ve created a succesfull company Wild Orchid Creations (wildorchidcreations.com).
