Remember as an infant, sitting on your highchair or stroller, you’d look at something and you’d keep looking at it patiently. You’d really see what you were looking at. Like you were seeing it for the first time – you probably were.

I am cultivating a way of seeing similar to that of an infant, to get in touch with something I am not able to describe. I call that something “Chem Kider”. “Chem Kider” means “I don’t know” in Armenian. To me, “Chem Kider” reveals itself as a mood. In that mood something stirs in my belly/chest for the briefest instant.

I am in search of the shortest, simplest and most unencumbered path to "Chem Kider".
