The Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) is a leading Education Institution in building the nation's creative economy - providing precious talent, ready trained on world standard technologies together with a very strong understanding of Art, Science and Humanism.
Since 1997, UCP's SCHOOL OF ARTS (Escola das Artes) is the first university in the country to offer undergraduate and Masters courses to support the emerging new media industries in Portugal.
The Sound and Image program includes: UNDERGRAUATE degrees covering video, audio and multimedia production; MASTER degrees in computer animation, digital arts, sound design, television production, scriptwriting; a PHD degree in computer music.
