Elizabeth Briel
From hand-printed blue photos of disappearing places to paintings in different languages, EBriel's work is an exploration of Asia and beyond. ThingsAsian Press has published her illustrations and photos, and in 2012 will release a book of travel stories from her search for handmade paper. EBriel is building a Creative Residency in Sicily, and experiments with ways to connect artists to communities, building bridges of understanding between West, East and places in between.
