If we reach our $50,000, you and the rest of the ECAN family can launch a campaign to get Esophageal Cancer included in a multi-million dollar cancer research fund controlled by Congress. We know the difference it can make because when Gastric cancer was included, it's resulted in more than $5 million in research funding for Gastric cancer every year since Congress made the change. We must reach our fundraising goal by November 1st in order to be ready to launch our campaign in January when the new Congress meets.
