Michael Wilkes is a logfile evangelist and engineer with Schuberg Philis in Amsterdam. Michael began his telecommunications career in 1993 at the U.S. Department of Education as a telecommunication specialist supporting California, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah. His work has been critical at various times for such well-known companies as Microsoft, Netscape, Yahoo!, nVidia Corporation, and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, ING and Rabobank. He holds a bachelor's degree in philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master's degree from Stanford University. He is also the author of "Cisco Internet Applications and Solutions" published by Cisco Press.
